Red Squirrel Conservation and Management of Grey Squirrels Talk - 6pm on Thursday 31st July

Are you a student wanting to learn more about red squirrel conservation, a landowner looking into the management of grey squirrels on your land, or just someone who loves our UK native mammals?

Somerset Mammal Group will be hosting an online talk on red squirrel conservation in the UK. We will be joined by Jackie Foott from British Red Squirrel who will discuss the ecology of red and grey squirrels, the impact that the presence of grey squirrels has on our vital native fauna and flora and what can be done to help. This will include the use of culling as a control measure.

This approximately 40 minute talk will be followed by a 20 minute Q and A session.
