About the event
The meeting will include a round-up of our activities over the past year, an overview of what we have planned for 2026, and information on how and why to become a member of Somerset Mammal Group.
The AGM is also an opportunity to elect our committee for the coming year. No prior experience is required for these roles — just an interest in mammals and a pinch of enthusiasm. The roles available are:
Secretary
Responsible for managing communications, keeping minutes, maintaining documents, and overseeing the membership list to support the smooth running of the group.
Events Manager
Coordinates and supports the planning, scheduling, and delivery of events for the upcoming year, working with the committee and event leads to bring ideas to life.
